Dreaming Big

Growing up in poverty, facing discrimination, and dealing with challenges at home can make it difficult for children to dream big.

That's why Mission Without Borders Backpack campaign will aim to provide more than 8 000 backpacks filled with school supplies to children in need at the beginning of their school year. For families struggling to make ends meet, this initiative is a much-needed relief as it eases the burden of added expenses that come with the start of a new school year. In addition to helping families financially, this program also helps boost children's confidence and self-esteem. By providing them with the necessary tools to succeed in school, they are more likely to attend regularly and less likely to drop out.

A Comforting Haven to Grow

Our After-School Programme provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for vulnerable children. Here they receive a hot, nutritious meal and support with their school work. They are also given emotional and spiritual support, making it, for many, a comforting haven where they are cherished and embraced.

Last year, we were able to support 567 children through this vital programme.

A Dream Come True

For many children, an expensive degree feels like an impossible dream.

To set young people on a path to a brighter future, we offer free Vocational Courses to all who cannot afford to pay for technical school. These include the English Language, IT, Agriculture (Beekeeping, farming), hairdressing, seamstress courses, motor mechanics, and cooking.

We also offer Scholarships to gifted and vulnerable children enabling them to pursue an education and fulfil their full potential.

Last year, we were able to support 791 students through these life-changing programmes.

A gift of R350 would cover the costs of one month’s After-School support for one child
