Operation Christmas Love is underway in Bosnia-Herzegovina, with hard-working volunteers packing up boxes of food to distribute to families living in poverty.

One volunteer is Nebojsa Gambelic, who wants to express his gratitude for the way he has been helped by Mission Without Borders (MWB). He and his wife are both unemployed and his wife has scleroderma and epilepsy. Nebojsa was struggling to provide for his family when MWB began to support them.

He said: "There are no words to describe my thanks and appreciation for your help. My wife's diseases have been pulling us into deep poverty but now when MWB offered its support I got a new zeal for working even harder towards a better future, especially for my children."

Despite the cold weather and chilly warehouse, the volunteers worked with smiles on their faces, led by the logistics manager, Dalibor Penavic. Before all the packing, the financial manager Mirjana Prce negotiated the best terms with the suppliers and ensured that the distribution went smoothly. Soon many families will be blessed as they receive their Operation Christmas Love parcels, thanks to MWB's supporters and volunteers.
