HOPE IS A JOURNEY

At Mission Without Borders, we believe meaningful change is achieved by investing time, building relationships and nurturing potential.

From 3 - 21 March 2023, Liz Butler, in partnership with Mission Without Borders, will be taking on Imja Tse, better known as Island Peak, a mountain in Sagarmatha National Park of the Himalayas of eastern Nepal. In a journey totalling 90 km, she will climb to the base camp of Everest and continue on to scale the Island Peak (6 189m).

She is passionate about community and helping children in need. In 2021, Liz successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and reached Mount Everest's base camp.

Now, Liz is partnering with Mission Without Borders in an effort to raise support for the families and children we serve - including those affected by the war in Ukraine. Liz is seeking to obtain sponsorship for every successful kilometre walked/climbed.

Reasons to Support

Mission Without Borders is an international community of Christians journeying with the poor and marginalized, working to transform lives across generations and foster hope for the future.

We have been working in six countries in eastern Europe, including Ukraine, for more than 60 years.

Your support will help us to continue our working with families and children across the region, devastated by war and struggling in poverty.
